Alright, so now that we have the settings and integrations all set up, the next thing we're going to do is actually create an AI agent. In order to do that, we're going to come over to the left hand side, we're going to click on the AI Agents tab and as you see, there are no agents. So the first thing we're going to do is actually create a new agent. Give it a role, something like an Instagram Appointment Setter. Give it a name. I'm going to call mine Alisha. One thing to mention, take it with a grain of salt, if this may trigger you, whatever. Women are often times way better appointment setters. Uh people are not as aggressive or as confrontational with women as they are with men. Uh so if your AI has any hiccups or doesn't respond in a way that maybe you didn't train it to respond, what we've noticed is that women are not pushed or pressed nearly as hard as men are. Uh so that's just one thing to mention, that's why we're a big, big fan of just using women and you also can go ahead and do like those funny, cute little smiley face emojis as a random, random, random side tip. But once you've gone ahead and actually created this, uh obviously we have our status, so on or off. So we're going to leave the AI agent on. We have some quick stats here. We also have something called agent memory. So what agent memory does is it actually trains itself. We're going to change this out real quick. Um, we move quick and we just push it and we uh get shit out the door. So this we're going to change to self-training just so it's more obvious as to what it is. But agent memory is a feature that when you turn it on, the AI will start to train itself off of every conversation that generates a conversion, meaning if it generates 100 conversions, those conversations, it's going to scan all those conversations, it's going to understand what it did good, what it did bad, what it could have done better, and it will continue to train itself as it progresses. So if you do want a self-training AI, then feel free to turn that on. And then also contact memory. What contact memory is basically, is it remembers every single conversation across every single channel, across every AI. So the way that actually works is, let's say you have in your contacts, you have, let's just say one contact, his name is James. And James spoke to, let's say three different AI agents. He called one agent one time, he emailed another agent the other time, he spoke via Instagram with another agent. If you turn on contact memory, what that's going to do is it's going to allow this AI to tap into that contact's memory because this system saves every single conversation with every single agent across every channel, which again, allows the agent when this turns on to remember everything that was ever spoken about with that contact across every agent and every channel. There's sometimes maybe a use case where you don't want to have contact memory turned on. That's completely up to you to decide. But if you do want the agent to remember everything that way, if in a year from now the same lead re-opts in and he spoke, you know, via phone, uh, and then the second time they're talking via text or iMessage, if you turn on contact memory, there's a chance that the AI might actually pull in historical messages that it had, um, and maybe use that in the conversation because again, it's an AI agent, it'll do as it sees best fit. So if you, once you're happy, sorry, with, you know, whatever's on and off, uh, then the next thing you're going to do is go ahead and hit this train AI button, which is where I'll see you in the next module.

Introduction

With your settings and integrations configured, you are now ready to create your first AI Agent. This agent will be the digital employee that handles conversations, books appointments, and drives conversions for your business.

Step 1: Create the New Agent

  1. From the main dashboard, navigate to the "AI Agents" tab on the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the blue "+ New Agent" button in the top-right corner.

  3. A "Create a new AI Agent" pop-up window will appear. Configure your agent's core identity:

    • Agent Role: Specify the official role of this agent (e.g., "Instagram Appointment Setter," "Lead Qualifier," "Customer Support Rep"). This helps the AI understand its primary function.

    • Agent Name: Give your agent a human-like name (e.g., "Alisha," "Alex," "Sarah").

Step 2: Configure Agent Settings

Once created, you will see your new agent's control card. Here, you can manage its status and memory functions with a few simple toggles.

  • Status: This toggle turns your agent on or off. By default, it is ON. You can switch it off at any time to immediately stop all its activities.

  • Agent Memory (Self-Training): When enabled, your agent will automatically learn from every conversation that results in a successful conversion (like a booked appointment). It analyzes what worked well and what didn't, continuously improving its performance over time.

  • Contact Memory: This powerful feature allows your agent to remember all past interactions with a specific contact, even across different communication channels and other AI agents. For example, if a contact named James called a phone agent last year and then messages an Instagram agent today, the Instagram agent can access the history of that phone call to provide a seamless and context-aware experience.

Step 3: Begin Training

With the initial configuration complete, the final step is to give your agent its specific instructions and knowledge.

  1. Click the "Train AI" button at the bottom of the agent card.

  2. This will take you to the Agent Hub, where the detailed training process begins. We will cover this in the next module.
