Alright, so welcome officially to your Agent Kong tutorial. In this first little module, we're just going to walk you through how to set up a new business, how to create new users, and also maybe walk you through a bit of the actual architecture. So we have something here called the Control Center. So the Control Center is like the backend layer that allows you to control everything within your business. And as you see in your Control Center, you have multiple businesses that you can create. So inherently within our platform, we don't limit you as to how many businesses you can create. You can create as many as you want. And to create a business, there's two ways to do it. Number one, you're going to actually come into your Control Center and click on businesses and then click add business. And for this, we'll just do a test. We'll say that someone else owns it, and let's create this business just so you can see. Cool. So now we are inside of this test business as you can see in the top left corner. But if we want to quickly create a new one instead of always having to come back and click on the Control Center, we can actually go ahead and just hit add business within this little business dropdown. And again, this can then allow us to do a second test and create another business the exact same way as you would in the Control Center. Now if we head back to the Control Center and click on businesses, you can see that these two businesses are now created within there. You can also go ahead, you can come in here, you can, sorry I did not mean to actually click on it. But you can come in here, you can click on these, you can bulk delete, you can edit individual businesses, you can delete individual businesses. So that's what the Control Center is designed for, ultimately, quite literally what it's called, a control center, a center where you can control everything going on in your account. So that is how you create businesses. Up next, we're going to go ahead and walk you through how to actually create a user. And if you see, I'm going to come in here, we're going to click on add new user. Uh, here we can say test [email protected]. We'll just go test whatever test. And then here we get down to the access level. So access level are two. You have a manager and I believe we actually say that right here. The manager can manage only assigned businesses and an admin can manage all businesses. Uh, so let's go ahead and kind of show you what that actually looks like. Let's create this business. So cool. Now you see that this is a test account. We're going to go ahead and hit edit. Here we can edit the user right, their account level, access manager, name, email, etc. We can also reset the password here if we so desire. So this is where you're going to go ahead and actually, um, control the user's details. And then here's where you can assign more businesses. So as you see, we have a bunch of different businesses. We can assign them to let's say these two tests and hit assign. And then boom, now you see that this user has access only to these two businesses. But if we were to go ahead and edit the user to an admin, you will see that now they have access to all of the businesses and we can't actually delete anything, which gives them basically administrative access again into every single business. So these are the two permission layers for now within the business manager and admin. And we'll go back to manager, kind of show you how this works again, very fluid and simple. We can delete these selected. Boom. Now they only has access to these two. And that is how you add a user. You can also come in and add users specifically to an account by clicking on the account, then we can come click on settings, and then inside of users here, you'll be able to see all of the different users. Now, obviously, if we add a user here, we can say, uh, testing user, uh, [email protected] and then whatever we just say testing. So here, if we go ahead and we create a user, as you see, now they have access just to this business, right? That is basically the setup. If I then go back into my Control Center, you will see if I click on users, we have testing user. He's a manager and he only has access to the one business. So there's two ways again to add a user. Number one is just in the Control Center where you come in, you add them and you give them individual access. Or if you wanted to invite maybe a client or someone specifically to one business account, again, you can come back in the settings, go to users and actually add a user within the business account. But that wraps up pretty much how you create a new business, how you create new users, and how you actually go ahead and manage your businesses and users. Again, you can come in here, right, we can delete this guy here. Uh, delete and that is again how we also go ahead and we delete users. So if you guys have any other questions, feel free to reach out to the support team. If not, and this is self-explanatory, then we'll catch you in the next one

I) Introduction

Welcome to your Agent Kongai tutorial. In this guide, you will learn the fundamentals of setting up your account, including how to create and manage multiple businesses and how to add and configure new users with different permission levels.

II) Understanding the Control Center

The Control Center is the administrative backend of your Agent Kongai account. It's the central hub where you can manage every aspect of your operations, including all of your businesses and users.

You can access it from the top of the left-hand navigation menu.

III) Creating a New Business

Agent Kongai allows you to create and manage an unlimited number of businesses from a single account. This is perfect for agencies managing multiple clients or for companies with distinct departments. There are two primary ways to create a new business.

Method 1: From the Control Center

  1. Navigate to the Control Center.

  2. Click on the "Businesses" tab in the left-hand menu.

  3. Click the blue "+ Add Business" button in the top-right corner.

  4. A "Create a new Business" window will appear. Fill in the following details:

    • Business Name: Enter a name for the new business.

    • Who Owns This Business?: Select the appropriate ownership status.

    • Industry: Choose the relevant industry from the dropdown menu.

  5. Click "Create Business". You will be taken directly to the dashboard of your newly created business.

Method 2: Using the Quick Add Button

For faster creation without having to navigate back to the Control Center every time:

  1. Click the business selector dropdown menu at the top of the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. At the bottom of this menu, click the "+ Add Business" button.

  3. Fill out the business details in the pop-up window, just as in Method 1.

  4. Click "Create Business".

IV) Managing Users and Permissions

You can add team members or clients to your account and control which businesses they have access to.

Step 1: Creating a New User

  1. Navigate to the Control Center.

  2. Click on the "Users" tab in the left-hand menu.

  3. Click the "+ Add New User" button in the top-right corner.

  4. Enter the user's details:

    • Name

    • Email

    • Password

  5. Select an Access Level for the user.

  6. Click "Create".

Understanding Access Levels

  • Manager: A Manager can only access and manage the businesses that are specifically assigned to them. This is the ideal role for team members or clients who only need access to certain projects.

  • Admin: An Admin has full access to all businesses within your account. This role should be reserved for account owners or high-level administrators.

Step 2: Assigning Businesses to a Manager

If you have set a user's Access Level to "Manager," you must assign them to the businesses you want them to access.

  1. From the "Users" tab in the Control Center, click the pencil icon next to the user you wish to edit.

  2. On the User Details page, you will see a section for "Assigned Businesses". Click the "+ Assign" button.

  3. A pop-up window will appear. Check the boxes next to all the businesses you want this user to access.

  4. Click the "Assign" button. The user will now only have access to the selected businesses.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: You can also add users directly to a specific business. Navigate to the business's dashboard, click on "Settings" in the left menu, go to the "Users" tab, and click "+ Add User". Any user created this way will automatically be assigned to that specific business.
