Understanding the Difference: Control Centre vs. Business Dashboard
Introduction
AgentKong is designed with a two-level structure to help you manage your operations efficiently, especially if you handle multiple clients or companies. It's crucial to understand the difference between the Control Centre (your administrative hub) and the Business Dashboard (your operational workspace). This guide clarifies the purpose of each view and shows you how to navigate between them.
The Control Centre: Your High-Level Admin Hub
The Control Centre is the main back-end portal for your entire AgentKong account. Think of it as your headquarters where you manage all the businesses you own or oversee.
The primary purpose of the Control Centre is to:
Manage multiple business accounts from a single location.
Add new businesses or clients.
Oversee user permissions and grant team members access to specific businesses.
View your affiliate statistics and manage payouts.
You'll know you are in the Control Centre when the top-left dropdown menu displays "Control Centre."
The Business Dashboard: Your Operational Workspace
When you click on a specific business name from the Control Centre, you are taken to that company's Business Dashboard. This is the day-to-day workspace where you manage all the operational tasks for that single business.
The primary purpose of the Business Dashboard is to:
Create, train, and manage AI Agents for that specific business.
View and manage conversations.
Access contacts, follow-ups, and appointments.
Adjust settings unique to that business.
You'll know you are in a Business Dashboard when the top-left dropdown shows the name of that specific business (e.g., "AgentKong Official").
How to Navigate Between the Two Views
Switching between your administrative and operational views is simple.
To go from the Control Centre to a Business Dashboard:
Start in the Control Centre.
In the left-hand menu, ensure you are on the Businesses tab or open the business dropdown.
Click on the name of the business you wish to manage from the list.
The page will reload, and you will now be inside that specific business's dashboard.
To go from a Business Dashboard back to the Control Centre:
While inside any Business Dashboard, click the dropdown menu in the top-left corner where the business name is displayed.
Click the "Control Centre" link.
You will be taken back to your main administrative hub.
